COURSE DESCRIPTION

Over the course of 8 evenings you will learn the fundamentals of screen printing from screen preparation, image making to printing on paper.

You will be guided through applying light sensitive emulsion to a screen and exposing images using UV light. You will create stencils using the direct and indirect method incorporating hand drawn and photographic imagery.

You will learn about colour mixing, press set up and the technical details required to register accurately for editioning prints.

By the end of the course you will have a confident understanding of screen printing and will take away multi layered colour prints.

What is included: All teaching and materials
What isn’t included: Please bring protective clothing, such as aprons, and ideas/images for what you would like to print.
