GradDip Carving: Architectural Stone alumnus Finn Conlon has been selected for the second edition of the Homo Faber Fellowship, partnered with expert stone sculptor Helen O’Connell.
The programme kicked off in Venice last month at UIA Venezia with a month-long creative and entrepreneurial masterclass run by ESSEC Business School and Passa Ao Futuro.
Finn is now back in Dublin working with Helen for the next six months, where they have been challenged to design and hand-craft a co-creation. You can check out their progress on their Instagram pages @conlon_sculpture and @helen.oconnell.794.
Taking place in 9 countries from September 2024-March 2025, the Homo Faber Fellowship is a 7-month sponsored professional integration programme designed for duos of master artisans and emerging talents. Participants develop business and marketing knowledge, as well as design and hands-on practical skills through transmission from one generation to the next.
The programme is developed with the support of their long-term partner Jaeger-LeCoultre.
