Over the course of five weeks, our 3D National Saturday Club members have been carving their own unique wooden frames.
Guided by our National Saturday Club tutors, Woodcarving alumni Tom Buchanan and Henry Brown, the process began with exploration, as members experimented with carving techniques and ideas. Tom and Henry shared essential tips on texture, form, and detail, enabling everyone to gain confidence and refine their skills.
Our members drew inspiration from historic homes and craft, flowers and the sky to design their frames, and by the end of the course they had each crafted a work that reflected their own artistic vision, creativity and craftsmanship. A huge thank you to Tom and Henry for their encouragement, guidance, and dedication throughout the course.
